Obituary for Pattie Watts Herald
Pattie Watts Herald, age 90 of Jackson, KY passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at Kentucky River Medical Center of Jackson, KY. Pattie was a homemaker and a member of First Church of God. Pattie is the daughter of the late Dewey and Drusie Turner Watts. Pattie is the widow of Sam S. Herald. Survivng Pattie in death are six daughters; Brenda Strong - Delaware, OH; Marie (Ronnie) Ritchie - Elliott Co., KY; Mildred (David) Turner - Jackson, KY; Doris (David) McIntosh - Jackson, KY; Martha (Gerald) Hudson - Jackson, KY; Janie (Jerry) Smith - Jackson, KY. Three sons, Jimmy Darrell Walker - Howell, MI; Richard Herald - Jackson, KY; Paul (Lisa) Herald - Kelly Fork, KY. One brother, Freddie (Mary) Watts - Michigan. Two sisters, Aliene Shear - Michigan; Dorothy (adrian) Harper - Michigan. Also surviving are a special friend Patrice Deaton, twenty-seven grandchildren and forty-six great grandchildren. Pattie is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Druise Turner Watts; three sons, Charles Everett Cundiff, David Herald, and Wilgus Red Gabbard; husband Sam S. Herald; one daughter, Grace Lynn Cundiff; two brothers, Sam B. Watts and Jerry Watts; two sisters, Millie McIntosh and Nannie Gross. Visitation for Pattie Herald will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with special singing at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Hollon. Burial will take place at Watts Cemetary in Chenowee, KY.
