Obituary for Geneva Raye Russell
Geneva Raye Russell, age 79, of Guage, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her residence.
Geneva was born on March 7, 1937, a daughter of the late James Harold and Isabell (Davis) Russell. She was a retired packing company employee.
She is survived by one brother, Paul Russell of Idaho; sister-in-law, Glenda Russell of Bowling Green, Kentucky; five nieces, Jolynn Holmes, Deann Christianson, Amy Russell, Andrea Jones, and Deanna Russell Watkins; two nephews, Glenn and James Russell; nine great nieces and nephews; four great great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, James Harold and Isabell Russell, Geneva was also preceded in death by five children, Loydd, Eugene, Geneva, Betty, and James Russell.
Geneva Raye Russell was a longtime resident of Guage, Kentucky who walked into the open arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home. She was born in Holley Branch Quicksand Creek of Breathitt County, Kentucky. Her life brought her to Illinois and North Judson, Indiana where over the years she has loved many people and had professed her love for Jesus. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning. Her final days were where her heart resided- Holley Branch, Breathitt County, Kentucky.
No formal services will be conducted at this time.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
