Obituary for Janet Louise Myers Collins
Janet Louise Myers Collins, age 79 of Trenton, Ohio - formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Janet was born on July 13, 1940 to the late Charles and Ethel Hill Myers. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons: Alton Collins Jr., Paul Collins, Steven (Tina) Collins, and Ray (Charlotte) Collins all of Ohio; eight sisters: Judi Warrick of Arizona, Dorothy Moreau of North Carolina, Mabel (Ron) Quilliam of Alaska, Gail (Wayne) Widman of Washington, Helen (Lonnie) Rogers of Ohio, Joyce (Jerry) Frye of Ohio, Michelle Vanwinkle of North Carolina, and Paula (Ric) Willand of Washington; three brothers: Jon (Debbie) Myers, Charles Myers Jr., and Michael Myers all of Ohio. seven grandchildren: Alton Collins III, Eric Collins, Wade Collins, Sydney Collins, Ethan Collins, Logan Collins, and Christopher Collins; eight great grandchildren: Benjamin Collins, Wyatt Collins, Waylon Collins, Alexis Murnahan, Natalie Collins, Christopher Collins II, Addison Collins, and Ethan Collins, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Charles and Ethel Hill Myers, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Collins, one son, Anthony Collins, and one sister, Charlene Myers.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 03, 2020 with Pastor Larry Collins officiating. Janet will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Ray Collins Steven Collins, Alton Collins III, Eric Collins, Wade Collins, Logan Collins II, Christopher Collins, and Ethan Collins serving as Pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 10:00 AM until the time of service beginning at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 03, 2020
