Obituary for Florence May Turner
Florence May Turner, age 82 of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Florence was born on June 26, 1937 to the late George and Nellie Turner McIntosh. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters: Debbie (Barry) Spink of Lexington, Kentucky, Sheila Turner of War Creek, Kentucky, Donna (JP) Meador of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Teresa Thomas of Lexington, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Caleb (Ashley) Turner, Camron Chaney, and Courtney Thomas; one great grandchild: Bryleigh Turner; one brother: Wendell McIntosh of Michigan; two sisters: Wanda Caudill of Indiana and Helen Deaton of Ohio; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents George and Nellie Turner McIntosh, she was preceded in death by her husband Burl Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 with Rev. Emmitt Campbell officiating. Florence will be laid to rest in the Lawson Cemetery at Mt. Carmel, Kentucky with friends and family serving as Pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019.
