Obituary for Wayne Thomas Hall
Wayne Thomas Hall of Lexington, Kentucky passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2016 at the age of 61 years. He was born in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky in 1955, as youngest child of the late Harry Titian Hall and the Late Jessie Spicer Hall.
Wayne will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his gentle and unique personality. He had a strange way with words and did not seem to mince words or his feelings. He loved animals, was extremely knowledeable of the plants, stars, and constellations. He knew how to fix almost every mechanical thing, never used a computer but was keenly aware of current events whether locally, nationally or internationally and always knew the latest celebrity news. Although, he had difficulty reading maps and road signs, Wayne possessed an uncanny sense of directions and one was never lost when with him. His happiest moments were probably when he was riding his motorcycle which he did this year as late as the weather and his health allowed him to do so.
He is survived by his sister, Sarah Nancy Hall of Lexington, his niece, Kelly Britt Hall of St. Louis, his nephew Kirby Scott Hall of Lexington, his great niece, Madison Renee Hall of Lexington, his sister-in-law, Valerie Lee Merriman Hall of Lexington, his nephew, Brian Edward Hall of Lexington, and a host of other family members, including Kyle Anglin Fugate and Timothy Blake Toombs. Wayne was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lloyd Green Hall and Harry Edward Hall, both of Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 with James David Fugate officiating. Wayne will be laid to rest in the Ned Spicer Cemetery on Canoe Road in Breathitt County. Friends may visit the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016.
