Obituary for Vergie Turner Hall
Vergie Turner Hall, age 78, of Campton, KY, formerly of Breathitt County, beloved wife of the Late Morgan Hall, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Vergie was born June 19, 1937 to the Late Edgar and Nancy Keene Turner. She was a member of Red River Community Church and a former employee of Rose Brothers Department Store. She is survived by two daughters, Delorse (Fred) Parks of Campton, KY; Linda (Frank) Whisman of Campton, KY; three sisters, Lula (J.C.) Smith of Brooksville, KY; Julia (Sam) Bradford of West Union, Ohio; Kathleen Watts of Indiana; one grandchild, three great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Vergie was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; brothers, Bobby Gene Turner, Ben Turner, Charles Turner, and Vincent Turner. Serving as pallbearers, Russell Parks, Denver Demoss, Dennis Spicer, Eddie Hensley, Jay Arrowood, and James Turner.
