Obituary for Timothy Layne Pelfrey
Timothy Layne Pelfrey, age 49, of Versailles, Kentucky, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Timothy was born on July 10, 1969 to Richard Pelfrey Sr and the late Mary Ann Watkins Pelfrey He was a truck driver and a loving father.
He is survived by his fiance: Jennifer Sosbe of Versailles, Kentucky; his father: Richard Pelfrey Sr of Vancleve, Kentucky; one son: Kody Layne Pelfrey of Versailles, Kentucky; five brothers: Richard (Gail) Pelfrey Jr. of Vancleve, Kentucky; Gerald Gregory (Freda) Pelfrey of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; Roger (Melissa) Combs of Hazard, Kentucky; Michael (Sheila) Pelfrey of Vancleve, Kentucky; and Brian (Melissa) Pelfrey of Vancleve, Kentucky; four sisters: Kizzie (Dale) Gillim of Bourbon County, Kentucky; Pam (John) Back of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; Hazel Pelfrey of Vancleve, Kentucky; and Sara Pelfrey of Vancleve, Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother Mary Ann Pelfrey, Timothy was preceded in death by one sister Elizabeth Click.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 with Cecil Howard officiating. Timothy will be laid to rest in the Lawson Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
