Obituary for Shirley Haddix
Shirley Haddix, age 75 of Jackson, Kentucky, departed this earthly life Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her residence.
Shirley was born on September 22, 1945 to the late Kelly and Dora Napier Thompson. She was a homemaker and Loving Mother.
She is survived by one son; Robert A. Haddix (Sally Haddix) of Jackson, Kentucky, Five Sisters; Mary Strong, Nora Combs, Fannie Jean Haddix, Mearl Spencer, all of Jackson, Kentucky, Judy I. Combs and husband Jake of Lost Creek, Kentucky, Five Brothers; McKinley(Ann) Thompson of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Kelly Thompson Jr. (Deloris) of Stanton, Kentucky, Wendell (Linda) Thompson of Taylormill, Kentucky, Ken(Wilma) Thompson of Jackson, Kentucky, Francis Edward (Marilyn) Thompson of Jackson, Kentucky, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Silas Haddix, parents; Kelly and Dora Napier Thompson, sisters; Mae Perdue, Bonnie Baker, Charlene Strong, Virginia Crabtree and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 with Pastor John Bunn officiating. Shirley will be laid to rest in the Haddix Fork Cemetery at Shoulderblade, Kentucky with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
