Obituary for Samuel Jackson McKnight Jr.
Samuel Jackson McKnight Jr., age 76, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Samuel was born on January 1, 1940 to the late Samuel and Viola Spicer McKnight. He was a retired accountant and a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his beloved companion, Tina Wethington of Loveland, Ohio; one daughter, Bridgett (Porter) Henson of Jackson, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Samantha McKnight, and Portia (Chris) King; six great grandchildren, Dalton Bailey, Samara Bailey, Tiara Bailey, Joshua Bailey, Raeleigh King, and Joslyn King; one brother, Denver (Darlene) McKnight of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 with George Dana Spicer officiating. Samuel will be laid to rest in the McKnight Family Cemetery at Town Hill Road, Jackson, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 until time of funeral services.
