Obituary for Ruby Muriel Campbell
Ruby Muriel Campbell, age 85, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Greg & Noreen Hospice Care in Hazard, Kentucky.
Ruby was born on January 15, 1933 to the late Auburn and Mariam Russell Wright
She is survived by three daughters: Phyllis (John) Perkins of Jackson, Kentucky; Barbara (Dale) Stamper of Vancleve, Kentucky; and Donna (James) Miller of Hazard, Kentucky; two sons: Robert (Margaret) Campbell and Larry (Liz) Campbell both of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother: Virgil (Geraldine) Wright of Indiana; three sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Auburn and Mariam Wright, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Price Campbell Jr, four sisters, four brothers, and two sons: Glenn Campbell and Michael Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 with Estill Barnett officiating. Ruby will be laid to rest in the Ben Smith Cemetery at Wilstacy, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 with additional services beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Tommy Miller and Estill Barnett.
