Obituary for Rose Combs
Rose Combs got her wings and went to the Lord Sunday May 15th, 2016. She was the daughter of Hasley and Dorcas Combs and the widow of Delmer Combs. Rose was also preceded in death by two brothers: Beechley Combs and Harrison Combs; two sisters: Emma Thompson and Letha Anderson.
Rose was the owner/operator of The Hairloom for many years. She was a talented hairdresser, dedicated to her customers and loved her work. Rose attended Grace Bible Community Church. She was the heart of our family, our Matriarch, the glue that held us together.
She is survived by her children: Jim Combs, Barbara Combs and Pam Butler all of Jackson; a special Son-In-Law Ader Butler, and a special friend Charlene Whitely, 8 grandchildren: Nicole Salgado of California, Michele Salgado of Indiana, Peter Salgado of California, Jimmie R. Combs of Tennessee, Amber Sewell of Burgin, Ky., Kerrie Combs of Wilmore, KY., Robert Bonilla of Richmond Ky., Sarah Barnett of Jackson, Ky.; eleven Great-Grandchildren; one sister, Louvenia Gross of Jackson, Ky. ; one brother Bill Combs of South Carolina and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 20th, 2016 at 10:00 with Archie Combs officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday May 19th at 6:00. Burial will be at Camp Nelson, Nicholasville Ky. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
