Obituary for Robert W. Childers
Robert W. Childers, age 59, of Quicksand, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence.
Robert was born on November 13, 1962 to the late Hershel and Mary Jane Barnett Childers. He was a retired truck driver.
Robert is survived by his sister; Iva(Randy) Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky, Niece; Faith Riley of Jackson, Kentucky, Great Nephew; Jesse Riley of Jackson, Kentucky, Great Niece; Jessica Riley of Jackson, Kentucky, Special Cousin; Hershel Manns of Jackson, Kentucky, Special Friend; Benjamin Thorpe of Jackson, Kentucky.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Hershel and Mary Jane Barnett Childers, Sister; Alice Childers, and Brother; Paul Childers.
Funeral Services for Robert W. Childers will be held at The Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky on Friday January 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with John Marcum officiating. Robert will be laid to rest in the Clemons Cemetery in South Fork, Kentucky with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 6, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at The Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky.
As a result of the weather, funeral services for Robert have been changed to the Visitation on January 12, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the Funeral on January 13, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
