Obituary for Phyllis Taulbee
Phyllis Taulbee, age 56, of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care in Hazard, Kentucky.
Phyllis was born on August 20, 1959 to the late James and Katherine Johnson Raleigh. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, James (Catherine) Taulbee of Jackson, Kentucky; her daughter, Katherine (James) Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Brianna Kilburn, and Britny Hurley; one grandson, Wyatt Taulbee; two great grandsons, Landon Hurley, and Cooper Hurley; one sister, Hazel McIntosh of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, James and Katherine Johnson Raleigh, Phyllis was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brandi Nicole Kilburn.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Phyllis will be laid to rest in her family cemetery at Belcher Fork with James Taulbee, Piercy Mullins, Billy Gross, Daniel McIntosh, Billy Ray Gross, and Stanley Hurley serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016. Additional services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
