Obituary for Pearl Fugate
Pearl Fugate, age 80, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his residence.
Pearl was born on June 08, 1938 to the late Boyd and Dovie Back Fugate. He was a retired truck driver for Falcon Coal.
He is survived by his wife: Alta Sue Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky; two daughters: Frances (Stanley) Bach of Jackson, Kentucky and Sherrie (Greg) Banks of Campton, Kentucky; one son: Greg (Evelyn) Fugate of Versailles, Kentucky; two grandchildren: Carrie Leighandra (Travis) States of Richmond, Kentucky; Nathan Gregory (Brooklyn) Fugate of Versailles, Kentucky; two great grandchildren: Natalyn Brook Fugate of Versailles, Kentucky and Leighton Ridge States of Richmond, Kentucky; one brother: Earl (Carol) Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky; two sisters: Geneva Sue (Bob) Blair of West Alexandria, Ohio and Thelma Barnett of Jackson, Kentucky; three special sister-in-laws: Faye Bach, Carol Fugate, and Georgie Combs; a special niece: Belinda Fugate; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents Boyd and Dovie Fugate; Pearl was preceded in death by two brothers: Boyd Fugate Jr., and Everett Fugate, and a sister: Ethel Russell.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2019 with Rev. Carl McIntosh and Ray Barnett officiating. Pearl will be laid to rest in the Combs Cemetery at Noctor, Kentucky with Greg Banks, Stanley Bach, Douglas Fugate, Travis States, Doug Blair, Caylon Napier, Scottie Fugate, D.J. Fugate, and Bobby Barnett serving as pallbearers and Ray Clemons, Elmer Bowling, Earl Stevens, Doug Stevens, and Ronnie Price - Former Falcon Truckers as Honorary pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
