Obituary for Ollie James Johnson
Ollie James Johnson, age 55, of North Vernon, Indiana, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his residence.

Ollie was born on September 3, 1961 to the late Joe and Mary Louise (Deaton) Johnson. He was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by his companion, Ada Lunsford of Indiana; two sons, Vernon Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; Ollie Johnson Jr. and Sheena of Jackson, Kentucky; two sisters, Mary (Frank) Thorpe of Jackson, Kentucky; Martha Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; two brothers, Lowell (Sherry) Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; Johnny (Vickie) Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; three aunts, Rosie Hertzie of Alabama; Daisy Post of Michigan; Gladys Robertson of Jackson, Kentucky; two uncles, James Deaton of Winchester, Kentucky; Albert Deaton of Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 with Pastor Estill Barnett officiating. Ollie will be laid to rest in the Johnson Cemetery at War Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016.
