Obituary for Mitchell Monroe Damron
Mitchell Monroe Damron, age 55, of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away November 20, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born on November 13, 1963 and was the son of the late Rome and Peggy Sizemore Damron. He was a member of Sookey Creek Fellowship Chapel, a retired factory worker and retired coal miner.
He is survived by one son: Chris Damron of Pikeville, Kentucky; one sister: Ann Damron of Pikeville, kentucky; one brother: Wendell Adkins of Texas; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sookey Creek Fellowship Chapel in Pikeville, Kentucky with Ray Williams, Frankie Bryant, and Jerry Damron officiating. Mitchell will be laid to rest in the Damron Cemetery at Pikeville, Kentucky with Mikie Little, Chad Damron, Josiah Mullins, Hayden Damron, T.W. Damron, Allen Damron, J.R. Blackburn, and James Justice serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit Sookey Creek Fellowship Chapel Friday, November 23, 2018 after 6:00 PM with special singing to follow and all day Saturday, November 24, 2018 with service by Frankie Bryant and New Hearts and anytime prior to funeral services Sunday, November 25, 2018 with Jerry Damron officiating and James Justice conducting the service.
