Obituary for Millard David Turner
Millard David Turner, age 64 of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at his residence.
David was born on December 04, 1954 to the late Millard and Mentie Dora Salyers Turner. He was a Jackson Cemetery employee.
He is survived by his wife: Mildred Ann Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; a daughter: Crystal Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; three sisters: Margaret Helen Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; Dana (Daniel Ray) Moore of Jackson, Kentucky; and Elizabeth Jean (Larry) Strong of Jackson, Kentucky; two brothers: Reggie (Wanda) Turner of Jackson, Kentucky and Ossie (Barbara) Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; very special grandsons: Andrew Turner and Tyler (Tasha) Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Millard and Mentie Dora Salyers Turner, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Brenda Turner, Shirley Ann Tucker, and Oma Tharp; and four brothers, LC Turner, Herman Turner, Alfred Turner, Jeffery Wayne Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2019 with Armon Nichols and George Watts officiating. David will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Richard Herald, Bud Turner, Rick Turner, Ossie Turner, Andrew Turner, Tyler Nichols, Will Turner, and Larry Wayne "Snapper Strong" serving as pallbearers and Ray Clemons, Roger Gabbard, Frankie Turner, Eddie Gabbard, Leland Noble, and Daniel Ray Moore serving as Honorary pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2019.
