Obituary for Mildred King Henson
Mildred King Henson, age 75 of Vancleve, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Kentucky River Medical Center.

Mildred was born on October 18, 1943 to the late George and Martha Banks King. She was a retired CNA of the Wolfe County Nursing Home and a member of Panbowl Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by one son: Gary Lee (Wanda) Smith of Vancleve, Kentucky; one sister: Fannie Prevette of North Carolina; one brother: John King of Florida; special friends: Maxine Trent, Cynthia "Mouse" Ritchie, and Teresa Poe; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents George and Martha Banks King, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orban Henson and three brothers: George King Jr., Mort King, and Melvin King.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2019 with Pastor Aarmon Nichols officiating. Mildred will be laid to rest in Jackson Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Billy Ray Smith, Ollie James Smith, Bobby Wolfe, Arthur Neace, Emm King, and Fred Sher serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2019 with additional services at 7:00 PM.
