Obituary for Mary Lou Strong Wells
Mary Lou Strong Wells, age 77, of Haddix Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Campton, Kentucky.
Mary Lou was born on May 7, 1939 to the late Drew and Flossie Strong. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband, Albert Wells of Haddix, Kentucky; two daughters, Debbie Wells of Haddix, Kentucky; Regina (Teddy) Combs of Jackson, Kentucky; one extra special granddaughter, Ashlea Nicole Combs of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother, Brown (Brenda) Strong of Jackson, Kentucky; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Drew and Flossie Strong, Mary Lou was preceded in death by two brothers, James Strong and Logan Strong.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 with Pastor John Bunn officiating. Mary Lou will be laid to rest in the Tharp Cemetery at Haddix, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
