Obituary for Mac Arthur Stidham
Mac Arthur Stidham, age 75 of Barwick, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at his residence.
Mac was born on November 11, 1944 to the late Joe and Melda Sizemore Stidham. He was a school bus driver of 30 years for the Breathitt County School District and a farmer.
He is survived by his fiance, Lula Couch of Barwick, Kentucky; one son, James Earl Stidham and fiance Stephanie Begley of Jackson, Kentucky; four granddaughters, Jessica (Terry) Cornett of Jackson, Kentucky, Monica (Dennis) Baker of Jackson, Kentucky, Devan Stidham of Hazard, Kentucky, and Ashley Stidham (fiance, Victor Gainer) of Hazard, Kentucky; two brothers, Lloyd Stidham of Barwick, Kentucky and Raleigh (Sheila) Stidham of Barwick, Kentucky; three sisters, Cora Baker of Barwick, Kentucky, Laura (Alex) Baker of Barwick, Kentucky, and Sally (Ken) Fugate of Barwick, Kentucky; special horse, Trigger; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2020 with Chris Turner officiating. Mac will be laid to rest in the Stidham Family Cemetery at Barwick, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 9:00 Friday, October 23, 2020.
