Obituary for Lucy Stamper
Lucy Stamper, age 71 of Lost Creek, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.
Lucy was born on December 28, 1947 to the late Willie and Malvery Fugate Neace. She was a homemaker and a member and a member of Faith Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her husband: Johnny Stamper of Lost Creek, Kentucky; one daughter: Jennifer Ewing of Michigan; one step-daughter: Lisa Stamper of Hazard, Kentucky; one son: Arnett Neace of Burlington, Kentucky; two sisters: Polly Ann (Jerry) Pannell of Guston, Kentuckyand Wanda Faye (Larry) Stidham of Georgetown, Kentucky; two grandsons: Albert Campbell and Ashton Sweatt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relative and friends.
In addition to her parents, Willie and Malvery Fugate Neace, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Elmer Neace, Ishmeal Neace, Cecil Neace, Arnett Neace, and Zack Neace.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 01, 2019 with Rev. Kenneth Noble officiating. Lucy will be laid to rest in the Noble Cemetery at Lost Creek, Kentucky with Albert Campbell, William Jones, Arnett Neace, Chris Pannell, Wade Neace, Larry Stidham, and Jerry Pannell serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
