Obituary for Lowell Cundiff Jr.
Lowell Cundiff Jr., age 75, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at U.K. Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Lowell was born on June 25, 1943 to the late Lowell Cundiff Sr. and Rosie Turner Cundiff. He was a retired steel mill employee and a member of Wide Creek Community Church.

He is survived by one sister: Nannie Cundiff of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother: Ralph (Betty) Cundiff of Jackson, Kentucky; one grandson: Charles (Megan) Trent Jr. of Winchester, Kentucky; one granddaughter: Madison Trent of Winchester, Kentucky; two special friends: Charlie Trent and Sam Lucas; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Lowell Sr. and Rosie Cundiff; Lowell was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Shelton Cundiff; four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2019 with Mike Spencer officiating. Lowell will be laid to rest in the Cundiff Cemetery at War Creek, Kentucky with James Campbell, Charlie Trent, Sam Lucas, Jack Thorpe, Ralph Cundiff, and Charles Trent Jr. serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 with special singing at 7:00 PM.
