Obituary for Louise Johnson Spicer
Louise Johnson Spicer, age 73, of Jackson, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Blaine Spicer, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Louise was born on December 27, 1943 to the late Matt and Shrilda (Burnham) Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Altro Church of God.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Kimberly (Larry) Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; and Zelma Gross of Jackson, Kentucky; one son, David Spicer of Jackson, Kentucky; one sister, Mattie Lee Turner of Ohio; one brother, Charles Johnson; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Shawn) Ritchie, Megan Louise Kidd, Dylan Ray Johnson, and Madison Trent; three great grandchildren, Aiden Ritchie, Ashton Ritchie, and Major Ritchie; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Blaine Spicer; and parents, Matt and Shrilda Johnson; Louise was preceded in death by brothers, Coy Johnson, Glenn Johnson, and Ray Gene Johnson; sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Hazel Johnson, and Rena Faye Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 with Rev. Robert Cundiff officiating. Louise will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
