Obituary for Lonzo Noble
Lonzo Noble, age 77, of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at his residence.
Lonzo was born on August 11, 1938 to the late Beecher and Lille Stacy Noble. He was a retired trucker.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Barnett Noble of Jackson, Kentucky; one son, Robert Earl (Patricia) Noble of Hazard, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Sherri Lynn Noble (Glenn Griffie) of Hazard, Kentucky; Robert Alonzo Noble of Hazard, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Gabriel Griffie, Waylon Griffie, both of Hazard, Kentucky; one brother, Eugene (Dixie) Noble of Jackson, Kentucky; five sisters, Blanche Whitaker of Winchester, Kentucky; Sue Neace of Lost Creek, Kentucky; Wilma (Joe) Gumber of Chicago, Illinois; Burnett Whitney of Indianapolis, Indiana; Edith (Dennis) Landrum of Frankfort, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lonzo was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Woolum, and Dulce Hurt; one brother, Estill Noble, and one sister-in-law, Hazel Noble.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2016 with Rev. Eldon Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson, Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016.
