Obituary for Lemel Crase
Lemel Crase age 86, of New Bavaria, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Vancrest of Holgate.
Lemel was born February 21, 1933 to the late Dailey and Goldie Mullins Crase in Jackson, Kentucky. On October 19, 1953 he married Naomi Bach. He enlisted in the United States Army in May of 1955 and was discharged in May of 1961. Lemel was employed with General Motors for 21 years and attended 1st Baptist Church, Holgate.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi; children: Kathy Lynn (Anthony Gene) Powers, of Ayersville, OH and Jerry Weldon Crase, New Bavaria, OH; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, Estill, Earl, Billy Joe, and H.R.; and sisters, Joyce, Marie, and Audrey.
In addition to his parents Dailey and Goldie Mullins Crase, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheryl; a son, Farrell; brothers Elmo, Major, Winsett, Fenly, and Clyde.
A graveside service will be held at the Pelfrey Family Cemetery at Campton, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019 with Frank Powers officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2019.
