Obituary for Lee Roy Smith
Lee Roy Smith, age 61, of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Kentucky River Medical Center of Jackson, Kentucky.
Lee Roy was born February 3, 1956 to Roy and the late Imogene Combs Smith. He was a retired School Bus Driver and Farmer.
He is survived by his father, Roy Smith of Jackson, Kentucky; one daughter, Tonya Neace of Jackson, Kentucky; one son, Bobby Lee (Crystal) Smith of Jackson, Kentucky; four grandsons, Jarrod Neace, Damon (Peanut) Neace, Trevor Neace, and Samuel Smith all of Jackson, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Briana (Sissy) Smith of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
In addition to his mother Imogene Combs Smith, Lee Roy was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Smith; a son-in-law, Eric Neace, and grandmother Martha Combs.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 with John Tincher officiating. Lee Roy will be laid to rest in the Tyra Cemetery of Frozen, Kentucky with Jarrod Neace, Damon Neace, Trevor Neace, Samuel Smith, Bobby Smith, and Kenneth Morris serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 and Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
