Obituary for Laura Lucille Mullins
Laura Lucille Mullins, age 74 of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
Laura was born on February 22, 1945 to the late Alfred and Laura Hall Richardson. She was a homemaker and a member of Wide Creek Community Church.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas Ray Mullins of Jackson, Kentucky; one daughter: Michelle (Terry) Reece of London, Kentucky; one son: Thomas Ray (Karen) Mullins Jr. of Richmond, Kentucky; one brother: Doug (America) Richardson of Jackson, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Joseph E. Mullins, Jessica Reece, and Courtney Beth Reece; one great grandson: Henry Wyatt Reece; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Alfred and Laura Hall Richardson, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jo Cundiff, a brother, Carl Richardson, and a sister, Betty Sue Combs.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 with Pastor Mike Spencer officiating. Laura will be laid to rest in the Hensley Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Thomas Ray Mullins Jr., Joseph E. Mullins, Alfred Richardson, Terry Reece, Michelle Reece, and Doug Richardson serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
