Obituary for Kenny "Booze Hound" Gross
Kenny "Booze Hound" Gross, age 75, of Ezel, Kentucky - formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his residence.
Kenny was born on September 25, 1943 to the late Kynard and Wanda Williams Gross. He was a retired owner and operator truck driver for Falcon Coal Co.
He is survived by three daughters: Sherry Howard of Clay City, Kentucky; Berlena "Bug" Montgomery of Crestwood, Kentucky; and Dema Kay Alsept of Milford, Ohio; special friend, Faline Holbrook; nine grandchildren: Josh Howard, Brad Howard, Austin Howard, Brittany Montgomery, Matthew Montgomery, McKenzie Montgomery, Jason Montgomery, Kelly Herm, and Billie Neace; two grand-cats: Max and Zoey; five great grandchildren: Bailey, Kassidy, Sebastian, Terena, and Kayden; two sisters: Carol Gross of Knoxville, Tennessee and Karen Miller of Knoxville, Tennessee; two brothers: Gary Gross of Clay City, Kentucky and Danny Gross of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kynard and Wanda Gross; Kenny was preceded in death by his wife: Geneva Combs Gross; two daughters: Teresa Neace and Pamela Whisman; two grandchildren: Stephanie King and Brian Ballou; and one nephew: Brian Carden.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 with Sam Faulkner officiating. Kenny will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Matt Montgomery, Jason Holbrook, Thomas Teaberry Blanton, Roy Gross, Randy Lovins, Donald Henson, Jimmy Hounshell, and Ross Gross serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
