Obituary for Katherine Haddix Campbell
Katherine Haddix Campbell, age 89, of Lakeside Drive, Jackson, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Lloyd Campbell, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Katherine was born February 6, 1928 to the late Floyd and Mary Ann (Tackett) Haddix. She was a self-employed salesperson.
She is survived by three daughters, Edna (Hendrix) Anderson of Jackson, Kentucky; Connie (Gordon) Edmonds of Jackson, Kentucky; and Gail (late Frankie) Noble of Jackson, Kentucky; one son, Lloyd Campbell Jr and wife Ida Mae of Jackson, Kentucky; four sisters, Beulah Mae King of Sparta, Kentucky; Bonnie Smith of Jackson, Kentucky; Lillie Strong of Michigan, and Emma Lee Brewer of Indiana; sister-in-law, Gwen Haddix of Jackson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Josh Campbell, Craig Edmonds, Chrissy Noble, and Katrina Bostron; five great grandchildren, Isaac Bostron, Brady Salisbury, Allison Noble, Samuel Edmonds, and Hayden Edmonds; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Lloyd Campbell; and parents, Floyd and Mary Ann Haddix, Katherine was preceded in death by grandsons, Jason Noble, Chad Noble, and Tim Campbell; brother, Kenneth Haddix; and two sisters, Marie Haddix, and Shirley McIntosh.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017 with Pastor David Palmer officiating. Katherine will be laid to rest in the Haddix Cemetery INC at Haddix, Kentucky with Don Bostron, Isaac Bostron, Brady Salisbury, Craig Edmonds, and her nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Anthony Kilburn, Ervine Allen, and Doug Allen. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017.
