Obituary for Jill E. Proctor Thomas
Jill E. Proctor Thomas age 67, of Newport, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Kelly "Beech" Thomas, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Providence Pavillion Nursing Home in Covington, Kentucky.
Jill was born on January 22, 1949, a daughter of the late James and Edith Turner Proctor. She was a factory worker at Duro Paper Bag Company and also worked at the former Wiedemann's Brewery in Newport, Kentucky.
She is survived by her daughters, Nina (Dave) Brossart and Melissa (Charles) Martin; brothers, Charles, Jessie, and Jack Proctor, sister, Juanita Williams; grandchildren, Robbie and Ashely Thomas, Ace Hall, Vanessa (Dave) Schell and Shelly (Steven) Karlson; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, James and Edith Proctor; and beloved husband, Kelly "Beech" Thomas, Jill was also preceded in death by grandson, Charles E. Tuder; brothers, Joe Proctor, Jim and Ray Thompson, and sister, Judy Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 835 York St., Newport, Kentucky. Funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Jill will be laid to rest in the Clay Thomas Family Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky.
