Obituary for Jewel Gross
Jewel Gross, age 72, of Campton, Kentucky, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Jewel was born on January 17, 1949, to the late Logan Campbell Sr. and the late Rosa Lee Hollan Campbell. She was a retired manager for Family Dollar Store and Homemaker.
Jewel is survived by one Son; Jeffrey Scott Gross of Campton, Kentucky, Two Brothers; Logan(Maxine) Campbell Sr. of Ezel, Kentucky, Willard(Lovie) Campbell of Lexington, Kentucky, Two Sisters; Sarah Marie Wright of Tucson, Arizona, Bessie Trent of Campton, Kentucky, Five Grandchildren; Halyn Moore, Danielle Holbrook, Heather Lykins, Jared Tyra, Patrick Sallie, Six Great-Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives to morn her passing.
Jewel was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Gross, parents; Logan Campbell Sr. and Rosa Lee Hollan Campbell, Two daughters; Patricia Patrick and Diana Deaton, Two Brothers; John Campbell and Pete Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 A.M. on August 10, 2021 with Rev. David Gross officiating. Jewel will be laid to rest in the Buck Deaton Cemetery at War Creek, Kentucky with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 9, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
