Obituary for Jeffrey Wayne Turner
Jeffrey Wayne Turner, age 53, of Lick Branch Armory Road, Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his residence.
Jeff was born on June 16, 1963, a son of the late Millard and Mentie Dora Salyers Turner. He was a lawn care employee.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Allen Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; five sisters, Oma Tharp of Alexandria, Kentucky; Shirley Ann Tucker of McDaniels, Kentucky; Margaret Helen Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; Dana (Daniel Ray) Moore of Jackson, Kentucky; Elizabeth Jean (Larry) Strong of Jackson, Kentucky; three brothers, Reggie (Wanda) Turner, Ossie (Barbara) Turner, David (Mildred) Turner, all of Jackson, Kentucky; two special brothers, Gary and Bob Bowling of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Turner; and brothers, L C Turner, Herman Turner, and Alfred Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21. 2016 with Rev. John Tincher officiating. Jeff will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky with pallbearers being, Gary Bowling, Bob Bowling, Snapper Strong, Larry Wayne Strong, Ossie Wayne Turner, Will Turner, Jason Plummer, and Andrew Turner. Honorary pallbearers, Daniel Ray Moore, Larry Strong, Ray Clemons, David Turner, Greg Lemons, and Leland Noble. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. with special singing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016.
