Obituary for James Victor Hale
James Victor Hale, age 57, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at his residence.
James was born on October 27, 1961 to the late Ova Hale and his mother, Beatrice Clemons Hale who resides in Jackson, Kentucky. He was a dozer operator for Black Hawk Mining.
He is survived by his mother: Beatrice Clemons Hale of Jackson, Kentucky; two sons: Spence Hale of West Virginia and James Hale of Indiana; two daughters: Beatrice Hale of Indiana and Elizabeth Griffith of Jackson, Kentucky; three sisters: Charlene (Jr.) Trusty of Jackson, Kentucky; Rebecca (Todd) Wittenmyer of Jackson, Kentucky; and Mary (Scott) Elder of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother: Raymond Hale of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, Ova Hale, he was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Hale.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 21, 2019 with Harold Clemons officiating. James will be laid to rest in the Bradley Cemetery at Decoy, Kentucky with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 with additional services beginning at 6:00 PM.
