James H. Gross, 84, of Jackson, KY passed away Saturday, July 04, 2015 at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. James was born on November 12, 1930 to the Late James Abner Gross and Delphia Shepherd Gross. He was a retired Veteran of the Korean War, a retired Teacher, a former Rockwell employee, and attended Little Cane Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gross; two sisters: Faye Wycoff of White Plains, Maryland; Juanita (Lyle) Elder of White Plains, Maryland; three brothers: Ernie (Diane) Gross of Williamsburg, Virginia; Johnnie (Gerda) Gross of Lexington, KY; David (Polly) Gross of War Creek, KY; host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. James loved children. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by three sisters: Jewell Watts, Kate Lovins, and Judith Gross; two brothers: Abner Jr. Gross and Oscar Gross; one nephew, Christopher Wycoff.
