Obituary for James Beach Mullins
James Beach Mullins, age 86, of Booneville, KY, beloved husband of the Late Josephine Anderson Mullins, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his residence. James was born February 1, 1930 to the Late Sam and Mahala Mullins. He was a retired Farmer, a Minister, a former employee of the Breathitt County School System, an active Farm Bureau board member, a member of Breathitt Masonic Lodge 649 F &AM, a member of Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and a Korean War Veteran. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Jo Morgan of Jackson, KY; Rebecca (Glenn) Fox of Booneville, KY; one son, James G. (Sheila) Mullins of Jackson, KY; four grandchildren, Tara Beth Hall of Jackson, KY; Jessica (Nathan) Ritchie of Jackson, KY; Tonya Fox of Booneville, KY; Hunter (Cassie) Morgan of Booneville, KY; two great grandchildren, Josie Kate Ritchie, Kyler Wayne Morgan; two sisters, Wilma (Marion) Wilson of Ohio; Charlotte (Guy) Marinacci of Ohio; other special relatives include, Roberta and Paul Griffith, and Calla Mattingly. James was also blessed to still have one "special" living uncle, Menifee Johnson of Stanton, KY. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, his loving parents, son-in-law, Wayne Morgan, and a host of siblings. Burial will follow the service with pallbearers being, James G. Mullins, Hunter Morgan, Mike Griffith, Nathan Ritchie, Arch Johnson, and Anthony Johnson. Honorary pallbearers, Glen Fox, Dennis Griffith, Kash Noble, Jeremiah Myers, Brent Myers, Courtney Johnson, and Aaron Johnson.
