Obituary for J.B. "Night Hawk" Lewis
J.B. “Night Hawk” Lewis, age 65, of Stanton, Kentucky, formerly of Breathitt County passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his residence.
J.B. was born on January 23, 1951, a son of the late Douglas Lewis Sr. and Delcie (McIntosh) Lewis. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lewis of Stanton, Kentucky; three sons, James (Kathy) Lewis of Jackson, Kentucky; Jerry Lewis of Jackson, Kentucky; and Joseph Lewis of Stanton, Kentucky; one daughter, Patricia (Greg) Gross of Jackson, Kentucky; one sister, Dorothy Pennington of Jackson, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Chris Lewis, Tracy Lewis, Kayla (Glen) Campbell, Ashlee Gross, Michael Gross, and Keira Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 with Mark Driskill officiating. J.B. will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky with his family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
