Obituary for Imogene Minix
Imogene Fletcher Minix of Jackson passed away May 20, 2015 in the arms of her loved ones. She was born on August 18, 1936 to Olan and Malvery Fletcher of Wolverine. She was most well known in the community as the County Attorney Secretary. She served in that capacity, starting in the 1960's, tell her retirement in 2013. We the family and friends mourn the passing of our dear loved one. The life she lived told of her character: big hearted, classy, well preserved, honest, strong willed, dedicated to family and hard working. She was the loving Mom to two sons: Scott of Wolverine and Doug and wife Carol of Jackson. The Igene of four grandchildren: Dustin, Damon, Kalah, and Kelsey and one great grandson Dylan Minix of Jackson. She leaves behind one sister, Juanita Holbrook and five brothers: Jackie, Gerald, Donnie, Larry and Buz Fletcher. Graveside service will be June 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hounshel Cemetery. We the family would appreciate it if you the people closet to her would join them at 6:00 for a potluck at 1261 Main Street (Doug Minix's courtyard). We want to celebrate her life by sharing fond memories and engaging in laughter. We feel this will be the best way to honor what an amazing lady she was to each of us!
