Obituary for Helen Turner Back
Helen Turner Back, age 96, of Jackson, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Price Back, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her residence.
Helen was born on December 20, 1921 to the late John Elliott and Laura (Roberts) Turner. She was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Back and Jack Hayes of Jackson, Kentucky; two special granddaughters: Katie Spencer Napier and husband, Jeremy Napier of Hazard, Kentucky; and Elizabeth Hayes of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandsons: John Elliott Riddle of Florida; and Larry Back Jr. of Cynthiana, Kentucky; one great-grandson, Emery Price Napier of Hazard, Kentucky; a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives, and friends; special daughter-in-law, Christa Back of Ohio; and special caregiver, Joy Bolen of Jackson, Kentucky.
In addition to her husband, Price Back; and parents, John Elliott and Laura Turner, Helen was preceded in death by one daughter, Johnnie Riddle; one son, Elliott Riddle, and two stepsons: Jerry Back, and Larry Back Sr.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 with Pastor Eldon Miller officiating. Helen will be laid to rest in the Miles Back Cemetery at Quicksand, Kentucky.
