Obituary for Haney Norman Johnson
Haney Norman Johnson, age 94, of Highway 1110, Jackson, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Leonard Johnson, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Haney was born on May 9, 1924 to the late Joseph and Rachel (Strong) Norman. She was a homemaker and was of Baptist Faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth (Willis) Warren of Somerset, Kentucky; three sons: Carl Edward (Eudell) Johnson of Westland, Michigan; Leonard Jr. (Pam) Johnson of Perry, Georgia; and David Wayne Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Mae Lane of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Dallas (Judy) Norman of Indiana; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Leonard Johnson, and parents, Joseph and Rachel Johnson, Haney was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Bellamy; one sister, Mary Childers; five brothers: Tom Norman, Jim Norman, Ed Norman, Billy Norman, and Ader McDaniel.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 with Pastor Gary Bellamy officiating. Haney will be laid to rest in the Haddix Cemetery INC. at Haddix, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29. 2018.
