Obituary for Gregory Wayne Henson
Gregory Wayne Henson, age 50, of Hazard, Kentucky, passed away, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.
Greg was born on August 14, 1967 to Willie and Frances (White) Henson of Hazard, Kentucky. He was a former construction worker and self-employed in a commercial cleaning business.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jean (Sims) Henson of Hazard, Kentucky; parents, Willie and Frances Henson of Hazard, Kentucky; three daughters, Jennifer (Blue) Asher of Bonnyman, Kentucky; Brianna Henson of Chavies, Kentucky; and Sabrina Henson of Bonnyman, Kentucky; three grandsons, Dakota Asher and Weston Asher, both of Bonnyman, Kentucky; Brody Combs of Chavies, Kentucky; grandmother, Matha White of Hazard, Kentucky; two sisters, Pamela Henson of Hazard, Kentucky; and Deborah (Michael) Miller of Dwarf, Kentucky; two brothers, Jeff (Vanda) Henson of Oneida, Kentucky; and Marvin Henson of Hazard, Kentucky; special friend, Dickie Vannarsdall; a host of nieces, and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 with Ryan White officiating. Greg will be laid to rest in the White Valley Cemetery at Hazard, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Additional services at 7:00 p.m.
