Obituary for Gladys Noble Henson
Gladys Noble Henson, age 62, of River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky, loving wife, mother, and nanny, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Gladys was born on November 25, 1954 to the late Bill and Rachel (Noble) Noble. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Pentecostal Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband, Jerry Daril Henson Sr. of River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky; one daughter, Darlene (Husband, William) Thorpe of River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky; two sons, Rev. Jerry Jr. (wife, B.J.) Henson of Jackson, Kentucky; and Willie Ray (wife, Barbara) Henson of River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Scott Thorpe, and Steven Thorpe, both of River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky; Jerryca Henson, Julie Henson, and Jaycee Henson, all of Jackson, Kentucky; two sisters, Judy (late Jerry) Neace of Lost Creek, Kentucky; and Georgia (Donald) Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky; five brothers, Bill Noble Jr. (Christine) of Frozen, Kentucky; Donnie (Reva) Noble of Frozen, Kentucky; Vernas (Teresa) Noble of Hardshell, Kentucky; Walter (Sue) Noble of Hardshell, Kentucky; and Ronnie Noble of Hardshell, Kentucky; a host of nieces, and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Bill and Rachel Noble, Gladys was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Noble and one sister, Louvernie Fouch.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 with Emmitt Campbell and Hazel Ritchie officiating. Gladys will be laid to rest in the Jerry and Gladys Henson Cemetery at River Caney, Lost Creek, Kentucky with Donnie Noble, Vernas Noble, Ronnie Noble, Walter Noble, Bill Noble Jr., Willie Ray Henson, and Jerry Henson Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Scottie Thorpe, Stephen Thorpe, Jaycee Henson, William Thorpe, B.J. Henson, Barbie Henson, Julie Henson, and Jerryca Henson. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017. Additional services at 7:00 p.m.
