Obituary for Geraldine Smith
Geraldine Smith, age 69 of Buckhorn, KY passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at her residence. Geraldine was a homemaker and a member of Whole Armour of God Church of Canoe, KY Geraldine is the daughter of the Late Elisha and Nancy Campbell Stidham and widow of Chester Smith. Geraldine is survived by a daughter, Barbara (James) White of Gays Creek, KY; Four sons: Lonnie (Tina) Smith of Hazard, KY; Chester (Pamela) Smith of Buckhorn, KY; David Smith of Buckhorn, KY; Leon (Loretta) Smith also of Buckhorn, KY; Four brothers: Keith, Bobby, Wayne, and Kenneth Stidham; Five sisters: Helen Smith, Imogene Fox, Linda Sue Baker, Grettafene Brewer, and Deltene Canafax. Also survivng is a host of nieces and nephews, fourteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild - Johnathon Dwayne White. Geraldine is preceded in death by husband Chester Smith, a son Lawrence Smith, and parents Elisha and Nancy Stidham. Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at The Altro Church of God with additional services Monday night at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Altro Church of God of Altro, KY with Leslie Abner, Billy Taulbee, and Chris Turner officiating. Burial will follow at the Stidham-Campbell Cemetery of Hazard, KY. Arrangements by Watts Funeral Home of Jackson, KY.
