Obituary for Franklin "Frankie" Eugene Noble
Franklin “Frankie” Eugene Noble, age 63, of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Frankie was born on November 29, 1953 to the late Charles Brown Noble and Laura Elizabeth (New) Noble. He was the former Mayor of Jackson, Kentucky from 1981-1989 and 1993-1997. He was also a County Judge Executive Pro Tem, a retired employee of R&J Auto Repair, and a member of The First Church of God.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife of 44 years, Gail (Campbell) Noble of Jackson, Kentucky; two brothers, Tommy (Sandra) Noble of Jackson, Kentucky; Bill Ken (Donna) Noble of Lost Creek, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Katherine Campbell of Jackson, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Lloyd Jr. (Ida Mae) Campbell of Jackson, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Connie (Gordon) Edmonds of Jackson, Kentucky; and Edna (Hendrix) Anderson of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Charles Brown and Laura Elizabeth Noble, Frankie was preceded in death by sons, Franklin “Chad” Noble and Jason Eugene Noble; sister, Linda Leigh Salyers; and father-in-law, Lloyd Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 with Steve Bowling officiating. Frankie will be laid to rest in the Haddix Cemetery INC at Haddix, Kentucky with Isaac Bostron, Brady Sallisbury, Don Bostron, Brian Haddix, John Marshall, and Ken Spicer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Bill Ken Noble, Tommy Noble, Hendrix Anderson, Lloyd Campbell Jr., Gordon Edmonds, Mac Miller, Andrew Miller, and Homer Johnson. Friends may visit the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, Kentucky 40508.
