Obituary for Everett Cecil Martin
Everett Cecil Martin, age 61, of Trace Fork, Jackson, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Everett was born on October 13, 1955 to the late Corbett and Eva (King) Martin. He was a member of Grace Bible Church of Trace Fork.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, seven sisters, Josephine (George) Miller of Jackson, Kentucky; Cynthia Ritchie of Jackson, Kentucky; Alpha Bess Hayes of Jackson, Kentucky; Lillian Florence Hanna of Ohio; Nettie Shepherd of Jackson, Kentucky; Myrtle Thompson of Jackson, Kentucky; and Hazel (Clyde) Little of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother, Ervine (Patricia) Martin of Jackson, Kentucky; three special nieces, Samantha Wilson of Richmond, Kentucky; Eva Ritchie of Jackson, Kentucky; Leandra Martin of Jackson, Kentucky; special nephew, Anthony Martin; a host of other nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Corbett and Eva Martin, Everett was preceded in death by sister, Bernice McDonald; and brother, Carl Toby Martin.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 with Rev. Willie Roy Miller officiating. Everett will be laid to rest in the Martin Cemetery at Trace Fork, Jackson, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Additional services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
