Obituary for Estill Bush
Estill Bush, age 86, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.
Estill was born on June 19, 1932 to the late Joe and Hester Thomas Bush. He served in the Korean War and was a United States Army Combat Medic.
He is survived by his wife: Ida Neace Bush of Jackson, Kentucky; one step-son: G. Dwayne Owens of Ohio; five step-grandchildren: Steven (Kathern) Owens of Texas; Haylee Owens, Jacob Owens, and Abigail Rose all of Ohio; and Renee Creek of Hazard, Kentucky; five step- great grandchildren; three brother-in-laws: Dennis (Janet) Neace of Nancy, Kentucky; Lester (Evelyn) Neace of Stanton, Kentucky; and Mike (Cathy) Neace of Mississippi; two sister-in-laws: Bonnie Neace of Jackson, Kentucky and Betty (Ray) Barnett of Somerset, Kentucky; two special nieces: Michelle Caudill and Bonita Watts; special nephew: Jepp Griffith; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends.
Estill was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Hester Thomas Bush, four sisters: Grace Griffith, Lalie Arrowood, Marie Bush, and Edna Griffith; four brothers: Shelby Bush, Raymond Bush, Delmar Bush, and Virgil Bush; and former wife Susie Combs Bush.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 13, 2019 with Pastor Phillip Swartzentruber officiating. Military Rites will be conducted prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Estill will be laid to rest in the Willie Campbell Cemetery at Watts, Kentucky with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
