Obituary for Emma Lawson
Emma Lawson, age 93 of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 03, 2020 at Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Emma was born on June 07, 1927 to the late James P. Turner and Nicie Vires Turner. She is the widow of Edwin (Ed) Lawson and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sister, Reba Combs of Beattyville, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, James P. Turner and Nicie Vires Turner, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin (Ed) Lawson, three sisters : Hazel Noble, Virgie McIntosh, and Rosa Lee Cundiff, and four brothers: Hobert Turner, Ollie Turner, Burl Turner, and Jack Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 05, 2020 with Robert Cundiff officiating. Emma will be laid to rest in the Lawson Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 05, 2020 prior to service beginning at 12:00 PM.
