Ellen (Church) Fugate, age 95, of Vancleve, Kentucky passed away on Monday December 4, 2023 at Landmark of Breathitt.
Ellen was born on March 5, 1928 to the late Bruce and Eunice Messer Church. She was a member of Full Gospel Church, retired from Lees College and was a Honorary Kentucky Colonel.
Ellen is survived by Sons; Bobby(Linda) Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky, Gary Fugate of Quicksand, Sam(Emily) Fugate of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Lynn Fugate of Frankfort, Kentucky, Henry(Martha Jo) Fugate of Haddix, Kentucky, Greg(Joyce) Fugate of Oakdale, Kentucky, Eddie(Sally) Fugate of Jackson, Kentucky, Eric(Marsha) Fugate of Beattyville, Kentucky, Bill Fugate Jr. of Jackson, Kentucky, Sister; Pat(John) Arebelo of Lexington, Kentucky, Brothers; Roger(Juanita) Church of Alexandria, Kentucky, Freddie Church of Morehead, Kentucky, Mike Church of Richmond, Kentucky, Twenty four Grandchildren, a Host of Great Grandchildren, a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Other Loving Relatives and Friends, including Special Friends; Roberta Fairchild and Alicia Smith.
Ellen was preceded in death by Her Parents; Bruce and Eunice Church, Son; Billy Ray Fugate, Brothers; Elwood, Danny, Russell, and Carson, Sisters; Elizabeth, Ruth Ann and Loretta.
Funeral Services for Ellen Church Fugate will be held on Thursday December 7, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky with Pastor John Bunn officiating. Ellen will be laid to rest in The Jackson Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
