Obituary for Edith Baker
Edith Baker, age 59, of Buckhorn, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.
Edith was born on June 25, 1957 to the late Peter and Maude (Barger) Couch. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband, Dewey Baker of Buckhorn, Kentucky; one daughter, Patricia Marie Baker of Hazard, Kentucky; two sons, Lovel Ray Baker of Booneville, Kentucky; and Glen Jr. Baker of Hazard, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Brandon Mullins, Cameron Baker, Robert Baker and Kendra Baker; one sister, Marie Gibson of Paris Crossing, Indiana; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Peter and Maude Couch, Edith was preceded in death by one sister, Nora Covert; five brothers, Lovell Couch, Russell Couch, Nelson Couch, John Couch, and Glenn Couch.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 with Calvin Bowling officiating. Edith will be laid to rest in the Government Cemetery at Saul, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
