Douglas Edward Baker, age 40 of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his residence.
Douglas was born on June 08, 1979 to Nancy Lynn Deaton and Eddie Baker. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his mother: Nancy Lynn Deaton of Barwick, Kentucky; father: Eddie Baker and stepmother, Donna Kay Baker of Altro, Kentucky; one daughter: Brianna Mary-Lynn Baker; maternal grandmother: Susan Deaton of Barkwick, Kentucky; paternal grandmother: Cindy Baker of Gays Creek, Kentucky; two sisters: Jennifer Smith of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Crystal (Dallas) Wilson of Tennessee; one brother: James Baker of Altro, Kentucky; two step-sisters: Shannon (Charlie) Stidham of Krypton, Kentucky and Brittany (Eddie Ray) Robinson of Whick, Kentucky; one step-brother: Shane Sizemore of Hazard, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Holiness Church of God in Jesus Name at Gays Creek, Kentucky at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 01, 2019 with Krouc Noble officiating. Douglas will be laid to rest in the Deaton Cemetery at Barkwick, Kentucky. Friends may visit Holiness Church of God in Jesus Name at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
