Obituary for Dorothy Mullins Trent
Dorothy Mullins Trent, age 71, of Jackson, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Jimmy Trent, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Clay City, Kentucky.
Dorothy was born on February 8, 1946 to the late Roy Mullins and Elizabeth Miller. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son James (Sirena) Trent of Clay City, Kentucky; one daughter, Starla Trent (Jason Whitaker) of Campton, Kentucky; one sister, Gracie (Ledford) Lovins of Jackson, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Jimmy Trent, Samuel Trent, James Evan Trent, Betty Marie Trent, Elizabeth Godsey, and Alyssa Whitaker; four great grandchildren, Jimmy Trent Jr., Gage Carson, Jordyn Carson, and Mckenzie Noble; a host of nieces, and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Jimmy Trent, and parents, Roy Mullins and Elizabeth Miller, Dorothy was preceded in death by sister, Wilma Watts, and nephew, Michael Lovins.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 with Pastor Raymond Moore officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest in the Miller Cemetery at Mt. Carmel, Kentucky with pallbearers being, Jason Whitaker, Samuel Trent, Jimmy Trent, Travis Carson, Craig Noble, Ledford Lovins, and James Evan Trent. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
